Blue Flames Text Effect
A guide on how to create a blue flaming text.
Step 1
Start with a large white canvas. Make a new layer set titled Text Effect.
Using the type tool, add you slogan to the page with the following attributes: bold, 10pt, strong and #FFFFFF.
Add the following layer styles:
Note: The colour is #003d8d

Step 2
On a new layer use the type tool to add your name with the following attributes: bold, 30pt, smooth and #0098FF.
Add the following layer styles:

Step 3
On a new layer, type your name using the same font details from step two.
Set layers blending mode to Lighten.
Add the following layer styles:

Strong 4
Duplicate your all layers with text on it. This tutorial will show you how.
Select the duplicated layers and select the menu item “Layer” -> “Merge Layers” layer set. This should permanently combine the duplicated layers.
Go to Filter > Blur > Gaussian Blur > 2.5px.
Add the following layer styles: Pattern Overlay.
Set layers blending mode to Hard Light.
